Dolphin-Safe Tuna? An Interdisciplinary WebQuest for Grades 5-8 :- You will begin with everyone in your group learning some general information on the dolphin-safe issues. You will become knowledgeable on the aspects that pertain to your role in the debate by reading and exploring the links to specific web pages. Then you will present your case to the rest of the class on the debate.

Year of the Surf Lifesaver

2007 - Year of the Surf Lifesaver:- The Australian Government has announced 2007 will be the 'Year of the Surf Lifesaver' (YSL) to recognise the centenary of Surf Life Saving in Australia. To celebrate this honour an extensive array of celebrations and commemorative events is being planned across the nation.
Between the Flags education kit and schools:- This education package contains teachers' notes, audiovisual resources and activities that can be adapted for Years 4–10. It can be used as a stand-alone resource, to explore the place of surf lifesaving in Australian social and cultural history, or in conjunction with a visit to Between the Flags: 100 Years of Surf Lifesaving. The package is designed to be flexible and provides a set of teachers' notes and activities for each exhibition theme.
