Welcome to our Global Projects welcome page. This is where you can view some of the past and present global exchanges between our school and students from different parts of the world.
What is a Global Exchange Project? Global exchanges are (usually) online projects that require students to communicate with members of a secure, online education community. They are designed and constructed to achieve the following general aims:
BEPS has developed an ongoing relationship with Nathaniel Alexander Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA). Phill Cristofaro (BEPS) and Tony Iannone (NAES) met in person on a study tour of the US early in 2003 when Phill travelled with a group from the Reinventing Education Project. The two schools have since developed a strong culture of exchange through the "Tale of Two Cities", "Fantasy Football 2004" and "Tale of Three Cities (2005)" projects (see links below). This exchange is regarded highly by the stakeholders from both schools and signifies an ongoing culture of cooperation, exchange and quality learning opportunities.
